Section 83C of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 2008 (“Section 83C”), as amended by Chapter 188 of the Acts of 2016, An Act to Promote Energy Diversity, allows the distribution companies to conduct one or more competitive solicitations through a staggered procurement schedule developed by the distribution companies and the Department of Energy Resources (“DOER”) with any subsequent solicitation occurring within 24 months of the previous solicitation. DOER issues this document and requests stakeholder input on the development of the timetable and method of solicitation.

Responses should be emailed to MARFP83C@gmail.com by Monday January 14, 2019 at 5:00pm.  Please note that responses will be considered public, and will be shared with all parties of the 83C Evaluation Team, including the Electric Distribution Companies and the Independent Evaluator, and the Attorney General’s Office. The 83C Evaluation Team may have additional Stakeholder Questions as the timetable and method of solicitation is developed and Stakeholder responses are reviewed.
