This a reminder that registration for tomorrow’s 83C III Bidder Conference is available. If you have already registered and received a Zoom link for the conference, please disregard this notification. If not, please register using the link below.
The bidder conference will be held virtually over Zoom on May 18, 2021 from 3 – 4pm. This conference is provided for potential bidders on the RPF requirements and solicitation process. The conference is for discussion purposes only and may not provide authoritative guidance regarding the solicitation.
All attendees must individually pre-register using this form by 10am on May 18, 2021. Zoom log-in details with a unique individualized link will only be shared with those who have pre-registered ahead of the conference.
SECTION 83C ROUND 3 RFP FOR LONG-TERM CONTRACTS FOR OFFSHORE WIND ENERGY PROJECTS ISSUED
The Massachusetts Electric Distribution companies, in coordination with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, are issuing an RFP for Long-term Contracts for Offshore Wind Energy Projects pursuant to Section 83C of Chapter 169 of the Acts of 2008, as amended by Chapter 188 of the Acts of 2016, An Act to Promote Energy Diversity and Section 21 of Chapter 227 of the Acts of 2018, An Act to Advance Clean Energy. This is Massachusetts’ third offshore wind solicitation and is part of a procurement schedule developed by the Distribution Companies and DOER in accordance with the authority granted to DOER.

Request for Approval of 83C III RFP Filed with Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities
On March 10, 2021 the Massachusetts distribution companies jointly submitted a request for approval of the 83C III RFP to the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities.
