The 83E II RFP Drafting Parties issued the below high-level draft guidance regarding the participation of distribution-connected energy storage systems in the Round 2 procurement. Stakeholders were invited to submit comments on the prompts posted in the attachment below by August 28, 2025. Please see the attachment for exact details.

All comments were due via email to Thomas.Ferguson@mass.gov on August 28, 2025. “83E Round 2 Distribution-Connected Energy Storage Comments” and the name of the individual or organization submitting comments were to be included in the subject line.
